💡 This is a guide to how I work and what I value. It’s not polished marketing, it’s the real me.
Drawn from years of freelancing, startup life, and a few pivots along the way.
Clarity through understanding: Before I design, I need to understand. That means learning the context of the team I work with and the realities of the users we’re serving. Clarity comes from seeing both sides.
Tech should help us do better: Technology is a tool, not the end goal. Life doesn’t happen on a screen, and the best products respect that bigger picture; helping us work better, live better, and focus on what really matters. I choose projects with that lens in mind.
Direction over speed: I value pragmatism. Moving fast only makes sense if there’s a clear direction. I mix critical thinking with execution so the work is both realistic and meaningful.
How I work best
I think in systems. I like to zoom out to see dependencies, but I also care about the details.
I move faster when I understand the why behind decisions. Context makes all the difference.
Clear, frequent communication helps me do my best work.
My working language has been English for years, but as an Argentinean I’m naturally more open in Spanish. Bringing that openness into English is something I keep working on.
What I value in others
Systems thinking and awareness of how decisions ripple outward.
Strong communicators who can share ideas and explain their thinking.
A growth mindset: people who challenge themselves and keep improving.
Feedback & collaboration
Give me feedback early, directly, and with examples. I’ll do the same.
I recognize talents and give praise openly — in public and 1:1.
I make myself available for brainstorming, syncs, or deep dives.
What drives me nuts?
When people don’t care or waste their potential.
When someone doesn’t bring their best — it drags the whole team down.
Sugarcoated truths. Honesty, even when uncomfortable, is more respectful.
Feeling like my time is being wasted.
Some honest, unfiltered things about me
I feel grateful to be able to work in a field I genuinely enjoy.
I care a lot about the things I do and how they affect the people around me — the users, my team, and the company. Because of that, I often push myself hard and sometimes expect others to care as much as I do.
I’m not great at sports, but I love swimming (body and mind connected, distraction-free) and rollerblading (that’s how I met my husband).
I have a straight poker face most of the time, specially with people I don’t interact frequently. You might think that I’m angry or sad, but I’m not. It takes a while to me to feel comfortable and open up in certain settings.
My Quirks
Figma layers must be labeled.
I’m a little superstitious (no walking under ladders).
I get hooked on video games easily, so I usually try to avoid them.
Update July 2023: After years of avoiding consoles, I finally bought a PlayStation. And it blew my mind how far gaming had come.
Update August 2025: Now I’ve added a Nintendo Switch to the mix… boom!
